National Inspirational Christian Speaker to Delve into Burn-Out and Balance in a November Retreat in New Mexico

Elephant Butte, NM (PRWEB) August 25, 2008 -- National Christian speaker, Janet Drez, will be speaking on burn-out and balance at a weekend retreat for women of all ages, churches and backgrounds. Hosted by the Elephant Butte Inn in Elephant Butte, New Mexico, this retreat will help women successfully balance their teetering load of responsibilities.

Thousands of women across the United States, in listening to Janet Drez's presentations, have learned how to balance their teetering load of responsibilities by turning to God's infinite resources. Drez's creative, fun, and biblically-based journey connects women to their spiritual oxygen line so they can handle the pressure, even when they're deep under water. Her next retreat "Take Time Out Before You Burn Out" is scheduled for Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, 2008, at the Elephant Butte Inn & Spa.

This intimate gathering of Christian women includes thoughtful sessions with Drez, time for relaxation, fellowship, games, hikes and other ways to enjoy the great outdoors on the shores of New Mexico's largest lake.

The retreat will start Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, with registration at 6 p.m., followed by Drez's "Busy Day" session from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. In this presentation, she will discuss burn out, and ways for women to balance family, work, and ministry/volunteerism, while still honoring self.

Events continue on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008, at 8 a.m. with a continental breakfast, followed by Drez's "Practicing the Presence" session from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. This presentation helps attendees prioritize everyday activities with God's constant guidance. "Quiet, please!" is Drez's second morning session, discussing how to practice stillness to encourage better listening and openness to the voice of the Lord.

After lunch, attendees will have free time to socialize, enjoy the spa or local scenery and activities. Drez will complete the day with two presentations: "Lean on Me," discussing how to find and use support systems to accomplish goals and stave off burn-out; and "Laughter," covering the importance of bringing various aspects of joy into life.

The cost for Drez's weekend retreat -- including "Take Time Out" sessions, meals and hotel room -- is $99 with one person in the room; $65 per person with 2 people in the room; $55 per person with 3 people in the room and $50 per person with 4 people. Those not requiring a hotel room, may attend the retreat, including "Take Time Out" sessions and meals, for $30 before October 21 and $40 at the door.

The Elephant Butte Inn & Spa is just two hours south of Albuquerque, N.M., or two hours north of El Paso, Texas. A map is available at www.elephantbutteinn.com/location.htm.
