Going to Mexico Read This First

For visitors who plan on traveling to the South American country of Mexico, I will be providing you with detailed, useful information for your journey. The primary airport in Mexico City is the Benito Juarez International commonly called Mexico City International Airport. Landing at the Juan Alvarez International Airport in Acapulco will place you in close proximity to many hotels.

The Las Brisas Acapulco, The Grand Mayan Acapulco Wyndham Resort and the Camino Real Acapulco Diamante are all located in less than a five mile radius from the airport. Since taxis, buses and rental car agencies are all available inside of the airport, you will get there in no time. The airport itself is the largest international airport in Mexico's Southern-Pacific region.

Acapulco Beaches

The La Bonfil beach is one of the best beaches in Mexico for surfing. Because of the high waves, many surfers flock here to surf. The waves are so high that swimming is actually frowned upon by the locals. Settled between Puerto Marques and Revolcadero Beach, La Bonfilso beach is a safe friendly place to visit. Caleta Beach is one of the most visited beaches located in Acapulco.

Its main attraction is the water itself. Families often come just to swim but the fishing is also excellent here. If you plan on taking a trip to Mexico just for the beach, you may want to consider a hotel reservation at The Fairmont Acapulco Princess. This four star hotel is conveniently located on Revolcadero Beach near the General Juan N Alvarez Airport. Spas, dining and golf are some of the hotel's prominent highlights. This one of a kind hotel sits on nearly five hundred acres, with over seven hundred and fifty plant species growing.

Cozumel Restaurants

A big draw to Mexico is its authentic Mexican food prepared by the natives. The Costa Brava Restaurant of Cozumel caters traditional Mexican dishes in addition to seafood. Other restaurants include Mi Chabelita, El Moro and El Foco all located in the downtown Cozumel area. It isn't difficult to get other styles of food in the Cozumel area either. People visiting from different parts of the world will find restaurants that serve the same meals that they are used to eating back home. For instance, Guido's banquet facilities cater Italian food, while Tony Rome's restaurant and bar serve up steak and shrimp. Blue Haus located inside of All Riviera Resort has an International menu that caters to everyone.

Los Cabos Mexico

There is quite a bit of entertainment activity to keep you busy year round in Los Cabos. Golfing, horseback riding, sailing, fishing and cruise tours make this one of Mexico's most sought after destinations. Often referred to as paradise by tourist, Los Cabos warm water beaches stay that way because of the warm humid temperatures there. Summer temperatures normally stay in the mid to upper nineties with very little rain fall during that time. Snorkeling and scuba diving activity there is highly recommended.

Whether you like fun in the sun or rest and relaxation at a spa, traveling to Mexico is the way to go. Nice people, great food and perfect weather all make the trip worthwhile. Visit Cancun, Acapulco, Los Cabos, Cozumel or any of the many cities located in Mexico. Get your plane, hotel and restaurant reservations done and come experience all that Mexico has to offer.
